Davis & Emily - our Local Pro's
Founders of the Wilmington Westies, both Davis & Emily are Natives of the area (a rare breed, lol!). They both have studied & taught dance full-time for many years, primarily West Coast Swing but also decades of experience with Shag, Country, Ballroom, Latin, & Lindy too! They both are point-holding WSDC Competitors. They both support the local community in many ways and have 2 doggies, Luna & Bud.
Davis has been Dancing for DECADES and has danced in movies and instructed dance for most of his life. Davis also plays Bass with a few local bands and is an avid musician, along with being an amazing artist (check out www.dancingdaviscreations.com). His favorite hobbies are (after dance & more dance!) fishing, boating, hydroponic growing & herb gardening.
Emily has a Masters Degree in Psychology & a Bachelors in Sociology (yep, she's SUPER smart!!!). She works with AI-powered engagement systems and has traveled extensively as a Project Director. She met Davis when learning to Dance (decades ago!!) and has been hooked (on both!) ever since. I don't think I've ever seen her off-balance - ladies, she's one to emulate! Emily also loves fishing & boating.
